Crystal and Cameron Sittin' In a Tree...

Crystal Westland, former manager of Fashion Crimes, tied the knot one year ago to her true love Mr. Handsome...uh, I mean Cameron.  Crystal could have worn a Walmart smock and still looked smashing, but thankfully (and obviously) she took the fashionable route.  The blushing bride opted for a Fashion Crimes Vamp Gown in silver sequin fabric:

The pictures say it all; I don't need to tell you how gorgeous she is, how great that dress looked on her, or how rad that tattoo is!  Also, bear in mind that like all of Pam Chorley's designs, this dress is available in many different fabrics, and also is available in a sleeveless and halter version.

So stunning!  Crystal makes one gorgeous bride, and will always be considered part of the Fashion Crimes clan (awww Mama Bird is married!).  Happy Anniversary Crystal and Cameron, here's to many many more!!

First Time's A Charm!

It was Gisella's first time in Fashion Crimes when she found her perfect dress.  Gisella was on the hunt for a unique and exquisite floor length gown to wear to a wedding in Europe, and thankfully the universe pulled her into our wonderful boutique.  It was clearly a fantastic choice:  a Fashion Crimes Vamp Gown in black lace with white underlay.  She felt amazing, and as you can see from the pictures she looked amazing too!  Way to show 'em how it's done!!

Keep in mind this gorgeous style comes in a variety of fabrics, and we have it in a sleeve version as well as halter.  And if you're not into the floor length, we have this backless style in a knee length option.  Leave it to Fashion Crimes to cater to every lady's needs!!

Engagements, Weddings, and Anniversaries, Oh My!!

Without a doubt this Summer has certainly been kind to us (please don't go!), and judging from the wonderful pics, the sun wasn't the only thing emitting hotness!

This babe duo decided to celebrate their wedding engagement with style.  The gorgeous Kelly wore a Fashion Crimes Audrey Sheath dress in a gold metallic lace.  Fantastic couple with fantastic style; congratulations Kelly and Ted!!

This stunning bride opted for a knee length Fashion Crimes Jezebel Tivoli dress in ivory embroidered silk.  Love this dress as much as I love this picture! Congratulations Sarah on not only your recent nuptials, but looking fabulous while doing it!!

One year later and this knockout couple is still feeling wedded bliss!  On her first wedding anniversary, Anna donned a Fashion Crimes Demure dress in ivory Venetian lace, and completely rocked it!  Happy anniversary Anna and Robbie, may you two continue to teach the world a few lessons in hotness for many many years to come!

A Bride With Style

In February 2012, Theodora and Kurt tied the knot.  While her friends encouraged her to buy a wedding dress that was long and sleeveless, she wanted the complete opposite: sleeves and "oh so short"!  Upon visiting Toronto from Vancouver, Theodora stumbled upon Fashion Crimes, and subsequently her wedding dress.  When our awesome stylist/HR manager, Tiffany, showed her the Demure Sleeve dress in Japanese Garden fabric, Theodora knew instantly that had to be her dress.  In her own words: "it was Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine meets Elizabeth Bennet of Pride and Prejudice".

The pictures are all the proof you need; Theodora made a great call!  The length of the dress says 'sexy', while the cut and the fabric scream 'elegance'.  This goes without saying, but lady you were a beautiful and stylin' bride!  The Fashion Crimes team wishes the happy couple a long and wonderful life together.  Congratulations!!

Lady In Red

Summer (and yes, it is still Summer for the next 8 days) is the season of nuptials, and we here at Fashion Crimes are ready for you, whether it be the bride, bridesmaids, or guests. Our new friend Evie stopped by to find a fabulous gown for a wedding at Casa Loma, and judging by the pictures she was completely successful!
Below Evie is wearing an Enticing Halter gown in red satin with her boyfriend Scott. She is the definition of radiant, and we totally approve of her choice of silver accessories. Evie, you look slammin'! And might we say, you two are one adorable couple!

Do you have a picture of yourself in Fashion Crimes attire that you would like to share? I would love to blog about it! Send your pics along with a brief description/story to admin@fashioncrimes.ca.

Fashion Crimes in Wedding Bells Magazine

As you flip through your Fall/Winter issue of Wedding Bells magazine, be sure to keep an eye out for two great Fashion Crimes accessories that can worn on your special day, or any day really! The picture above displays one of our many spectacular silk dupioni rosette headbands, which comes in a wide variety of colors and they are on sale right now!!
Here, the lovely lady pictured clings on to an extra long, lucite necklace from Fashion Crimes. The lucite beads are strung together with soft navy tulle, which ties together in a big bow. We love this necklace just as much as Wedding Bells, as this piece can be suitable for any occasion when styled properly. This is one of the many accessories in the Fashion Crimes treasure chest, you must get in here and see to believe it!

Pick of the Day!

The Fashion Crimes pick of the day is the incredible 6-Way Dress! Despite it's name, the dress can be tied over 25 different ways; you just need to get creative. Today we have posted front and back images of 5 different ways to wear it, with each one completely transforming the dress! Everyone of us here at Fashion Crimes has one of these beauties in our closet because they are so versatile, easy to maintain, and best of all, comfortable. This dress is the perfect go-to dress,
as it can be worn casually or to a formal event.

Brides! This is the brides maid dress you have been looking for. You can have your girls wear all them same colour tied up in different styles, or pick a different colour for each dress and tie them all up the same. What makes this dress perfect: your brides maids will easily get more use of the dress, as they will surely wear it again after your special day instead of it living in a garment bag in the closet. Trust me, they will be grateful you opted out of the puffy sleeve,
barbie pink floor length gown!
