Fashion Crimes Goes To Brazil...

...well sort of. 

 Toronto held its annual Brazilian CarnivalBall for the very last time at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on September 15^th.  Proceeds from the charity gala go toward cancer care in Canada and Brazil. For the event the venue is transformed into the essence of Brazilian culture, and this year we added a little Fashion Crimes flare.

Fashion Crimes was grateful to style Miss Universe Canada 2009 winner, Mariana Valente; seen above in our very own Bulletogored red peacock dress looking effortlessly chic.  For all you pageant contestants, take note: Fashion Crimes is brimming with long evening gowns to help you grasp the illusive crown you’re vying for.  Remember us next time you’re going head to head for that sash!

Belle of the Ball

Last Saturday marked the 45th anniversary of the Brazilian Carnival Ball; an event filled with entertainment, bright colours, and over the top fashion. Naturally, Lorraine Zander, editor-in-chief for Faze Magazine, came to Fashion Crimes to find the right look for such a spectacular event. Wearing a bullet gown in peacock tulle fabric with gold accessories, Lorraine did nothing but turn heads, and even caught the attention of Dereck Chetty, fashion reporter for the Toronto Star.
Lorraine looks absolutely stunning; she makes our job so easy!!
