Destination PROM Shopping

As you will discover in his recent prom feature, Derrick Chetty - Toronto Star Fashion & Living editor -was blown away last Saturday afternoon by the magnitude of teenage girls swarming the boutique. He was also amazed at the diverse collection and the perseverance of the FC staff.
Derrick scoured Toronto for prom dress destinations for his article, so we are amazed at HIS perseverence!

The Heart Truth @ LGFW

The Heart Truth Show at LGFW '09 thankfully did not include any tumbles or slips this year. It did, however, feature the best of local fashion designers, a packed house, and lots of smiles & laughter. Amy Sky sung herself down the runway, Tara Spencer-Nairn mooned the crown with frilly knickers, Marilyn Dennis was disco dancing, and
Cassie Campbell was all glammed up in Fashion Crimes.

See Cassie and Pam on the cover of the Metro today!

Your Dress Experts Choose - Best Dressed at the Oscars

Obviously the staff here have many opinions when it comes to the styling at the Oscars. With their range of styles and personal taste I was excited to hear what the girls had to say, who would agree with who & the debates that would sprout with passionate reactions. I didn't get any of this, however. Wide-eyed two-word responses with lots of self-assurance when asked who their fav was, "MARISA TOMEI". All in aggreeance, as her gorgeous Versace gown stood alone against the minimal unique red carpet glamour this year.
