a few weeks ago we attended the "ticket to Ride" BELL celebrity gala, (a fundraiser for Sick Kids). Fashion Crimes dressed the performers for the evening- including Suzie McNeil, Kreesha Turner, Lindsay Ell, and Cleo.

I like that "FC" pertains to both Fashion Crimes & Fashion Cares. It makes sense. Especially for the reason that 20+ years ago when Fashion Cares began, Fashion Crimes worked as one of the sole designers for the show.
This year the relationship was re-hatched, as the show once again featured FC alongside with 3 other Toronto greats: David Dixon, Izzy Camilleri & Greta Constantine. (the jet crystal make-up perfectly complimented our plume jezebel wiggle dress!)

All in all---FC loves being a part of FC. Between Phillip Ing, the reps at MAC cosmetics, stylist Juliana Schiavinatto , the AMAZING team from ACT, and all of the excited guests and performers (Anne Mroczkowski, Katy Perry, Kreesha Turner, etc) it is obvious that this incredibly successful event is a direct result from all of the passion behind the scenes.

Looking forward to Fashion Cares 2009.

Melanie Doane was a stylish attendee and performer at the Rally for Kids With Cancer fundraising event. See her in FC above....
Other guests included NBA alum Jerome Williams, playboys Monica Leigh and Stephanie Glasson, Tie Domi and his girlfriend- actress Kelly Carlson, NFL alum Richard Dent, Ben Mulroney, Suzie Mcneil. Suzie also rocks FC at any opportunity- this year as one of the best dressed @ the Juno awards.

Jelena Adzic is for real. This lovely on-air entertainment host for CBC television is exactly what you get in person too!
Arriving to FC even at 8a.m. to be dressed for her fancy-shmansy TIFF events, she was all smiles with tea and treats for the girls in hand.
