Degrassi: The Next Generation Receives Peabody Award

The George Foster Peabody Awards recognize distinguished achievement and meritorious public service by TV and radio stations, networks, producing organizations, individuals and the World Wide Web. This year Jordon Todosey (who plays Adam/Gracie on Degrassi: The Next Generation) accepted the award for the episode "My Body is a Cage". We were thrilled to have the opportunity to dress Jordan in Fashion Crimes; the only hard part was deciding which dress to go with, they all looked fabulous on her!

Jordy looks smashing in a Jezebeltivmini dress in peach "quilt" silk. Her earrings and bracelet are also from Fashion Crimes.

We Love Thee Newfoundland!

Recently I had a conversation with Hans Rollmann, a very talented writer for The Independent; a newspaper distributed in Newfoundland. I was more than delighted to share my experiences in the fashion industry, and it was particularly close to my heart as I am indeed a proud Newfoundlander! Click HERE to read the article.

Here I am wearing a Jezebel Tivoli dress in red Impressionist silk fabric, accessorized with a black crystal Heirloom necklace. The judy (yes, that is what a headless mannequin is called; a little terminology I learned from working at Fashion Crimes!) next to me is displaying our gorgeous Black Tie dress in Cracked Rose fabric. This dress is a floor length, backless gown; a particularly coveted item for prom. Ladies you must try on this dress!
