TIFF is upon us!

Once again- Fashion Crimes is paying tribute to the elite of the film industry for the Toronto International Film Festival!
This year, FC designs will mingle & schmooze amongst the stars & VIP's for multiple premiers, parties & events.
here's a sneak peek of our annual Festival themed window display:

Taxidermy monkeys predate 1870,
which are from the collection of William Jamieson.
All pieces were originally collected by
Thomas Barnett for the Niagra Falls Museum.
The stunning 6 foot ostrich is also from the collection of
William Jamieson, by Toronto artist Ryan McCullough.
Window design/concept/ production: Pam Chorley, Cynthia Rea
& Crystal Rickard

neighbourly fashion love...

Check out the DAILY THREAD, a fantastic blog written by a group of hip Queen west stylists.

Our neighbours from stylus communications found a few of their favorite pieces last week to shoot for their recent editorial.

KOMA DESIGNS

Remember our PROM window display? The amazing sphere chair and lighting was provided by KOMA.

I have to tell you about this wonderful store- as I find myself telling friends about it ALL THE TIME as one of my favorite places to visit.

The experience and visual spectacle of furniture & home design accessories in KOMA is the equivalent to dresses & fashion accessories in FC. Such an accomplishment by Jamie and Pam alike to give Queen West wanderers a total escape upon stepping into their worlds...

The store and furniture gallery also caught the attention of BLOGTO. check it out. visit the store/gallery. Introduce yourself to shop owner Jamie Cheveldeyoff. you never know- the introduction may someday bloom into a lovely friendship...

we are in great anticipation of the new fall collections!
One line in particular that is very exciting- Karen Wilson Handbags.
(we refer to her as Canada's Kate Spade)

Three reasons to love Karen Wilson handbags:
1- most of the KW handbags that we sell are exclusively designed for Fashion Crimes, ensuring one-of-a-kind styles with limited edition fabrications
2- the wonderful vintage inspired frame, with a practical modern size
3- the large tag inside that reads: "MADE IN CANADA"

Liza Property

by day she's the energetic style consultant @ Fashion Crimes who will help to find ANYONE the fiercest dress for their event...

...by night she is Northern Yonge's female counterpart-
the musical vixen known as Liza Property.
See her above decked out in one of Pam's latest designs for fall!
It is one that Liza herself collaborated with Pam in designing.

(when you come down to the store to meet her in person, be sure to listen to the "click-click" of her perfectly manicured talons)
