Canada Sings Final Episode: GO Transit VS Purdy's Chocolates

The second season of Canada Sings has ended for another year, which means last week's finale had Sharron Matthews rockin' another Fashion Crimes outfit. If you missed it, never fear! Click HERE to watch the entire episode! This time she wore a Fashion Crimes Holly Boat Sleeve dress in periwinkle lace with white underlay, complimented by a white flower belt, rhinestone feather cuff, a little birdy ring, and fantastic tear drop crystal earrings.  I don't think this woman knows what it's like to not look good, because she looks fab-u-lous!

Pictured below is a close up of Sharron's bracelet and ring.  A nice added bonus: that ring opens up like a locket!  You can always count on Fashion Crimes to have the latest and most unique accessories!

Also, judge Laurieann Gibson was seen once again looking radiant in a pair of Fashion Crimes earrings.  Here she is wearing Austrian crystal dangle earrings, which are made in Canada.  Isn't it great to support local, independent artists?  We think so, and so does Laurieann!

The Stylin' Ladies Of The MMVA's

Liz Trinnear and Phoebe Dykstra both looked incredible in Fashion Crimes during last Sunday's Much Music Video Awards.  I could go on and on about how beautiful they were, but I think the pictures clearly speak for themselves!

Liz chose to wear a Fashion Crimes Jezebel Micro Mini in neon yellow glitter fabric, paired with a silver studded bracelet, rhinestone octopus ring, and crystal chandelier earrings.  It is quite evident that she looks absolutely fabulous, and you got to love her choice in shoes.  Slammin' Liz, just slammin'!

Phoebe is wearing a corseted, gem and tulle Sherri Hill dress (available at Fashion Crimes) accessorized with a multi-coloured rhinestone ring that she found at our wonderful boutique.  This dress suits her personality perfectly; fun, colourful, and beautiful!

And with a dress that short, you have to wear undergarments you won't mind showing off!  Lucky for Phoebe, Fashion Crimes carries ruffled lace sissy pants (every pin-up girl's dream) in black, pink, red, and white.  These are a fantastic staple that would look super cute under any dress with a flowing skirt or, ahem, in the bedroom.  Just sayin'.

Fashion Crimes Loves NXNE

NXNE finished up for another year last Sunday.  Fashion Crimes' very own Tiffany Chang ventured to the Crawford on Friday night to see hip hop artist, the Wordburglar, perform.  Tiffany wore one of Fashion Crimes' newest pieces to the show; a knee length cotton dress with little triangle cut outs around the collar.  This just goes to show that the dresses at Fashion Crimes are not only meant for fancy events; they can easily be worn casually, you just need to either tone up or down your accessories!

If you haven't heard the Wordburglar's amazing rhymes, I have you covered!  Click HERE to view his latest music video Rhyme O'Clock, and I promise, you will become hooked.  When watching the video, you might see some familiar landmarks, as the majority was filmed on the best street in Toronto: Queen Street West!  Also, keep an eye out for Bram Morrison of Sharron, Lois, and Bram fame (you kids of the 80's know what I'm talkin' about; the Elephant Show!!).  Then once you've become addicted to the Wordburglar's tracks, your next step is to head on over to iTunes and support your local, independent artists by picking up the album (you can do that by clicking HERE).   Original and intelligent hip hop meets unique fashion; quite the match!!

Side note: Bram wasn't supposed to make an appearance in the Rhyme O'Clock music video, he just happened to walk by during the filming.  It was fate!!

Hot Like A Bolt Of Lightning

The lovely Shantell Powell was kind enough to share a photo of herself in a Fashion Crimes Knotty dress in purple lightning silk.  This fabulous print was made especially for Fashion Crimes, so the only place you'll find it is in our wonderful boutique.  Shantell looks incredible in this piece, and she wore it when celebrating her 18th wedding anniversary.  Great choice, you look fantastic!!

Canada Sings Episode 5: Calgary Stampede Casino VS Royal Bank of Canada

Wow!  That was one sizzling hot episode of Canada Sings last night!  Part of that was thanks to the sexy performances by both teams competing for their charity, but the beautiful Sharron Matthews burned up the screen in a saucy Fashion Crimes outfit.  Click HERE to watch and see what I'm talking about!

Here is Sharron totally owning a satin leopard print Jezebel Tivoli dress, accessorized with a lace-up waist cincher belt and a fabulous veiled feather fascinator.  For added colour (and added awesomeness), she is wearing 3 crystal bangles in purple and turquoise, with purple gem chandelier earrings (pictured below).  Way to represent lady! And remember, everything you see Sharron Matthews wearing on Canada Sings can all be purchased at Fashion Crimes!!

But wait there's more!  One of the judges, the always radiant Laurieanne Gibson, was looking gorgeous in a pair of Fashion Crimes rhinestone star earrings.  Gotta dig all the Fashion Crimes love on Canada Sings; now all you have to do is get your beautiful self on down to Queen Street West and snag these pieces before someone else does!!

Another Stunning Prom Gal!

Here's another pic of a beautiful prom girl who found her perfect dress at Fashion Crimes!

What we have here is a strapless, floral applique dress with just a touch of tulle peeking under the skirt.  We love how she opted for a royal blue chiffon sash, which not only matches that gorgeous corsage she's wearing but her date as well!  Great job Jocelyn, thanks for sending us the picture!!

Canada Sings Episode 4: Dumas Mines VS Elmwood Spa

Wow!  Another great episode of Canada Sings aired last Tuesday, with the amazing and beautiful Sharron Matthews looking drop dead gorgeous in Fashion Crimes.  This time she wore a black sequin Hepbourne dress, accessorized with a black tip, turquoise fox fur stole (click HERE to learn more about how fur is green) and black fishnet tights, which can all be found at Fashion Crimes!

That wasn't the only Fashion Crimes presence in the show; the lovely ladies of Elmwood Spa were all strutting their stuff in Fashion Crimes fascinators! Prom Girls, I Mean Prom Ladies, Glowing In Fashion Crimes!!

The beautiful Niki Firmalino was kind enough to email us a picture of her prom dress, which she found at (where else?) Fashion Crimes!  I, for one, almost died when I saw the picture of the beauty queen.  She looks absolutely stunning in a floor length, jeweled dress, complete with netty peek-a-boo segments and a side slit (step aside Angelina).  To the ladies with prom nights quickly approaching:  want to look as good as you feel?  Follow the steps of Niki; come to Fashion Crimes to get the prom dress that you deserve!  Nicely done Niki!!

New Window Brightens Up Queen Street West

This time around, our store front window focuses on one fabric that  people are going crazy for, accentuated with bright pops of neon!  That's right, come take a peek at our window and you will see neon coloured head wraps, kerchiefs, clutches, belts, and even socks which can all be found at Fashion Crimes!! 

Even more exciting news:  Fashion Crimes is now carrying high waisted shorts, designed by Pam Chorley!  Not only do they come in the giant flower fabric (as shown in the above picture), but also in a cherry fabric, and polka-dot!!
