Hello! Canada and The Spoke Club Love Toronto

Last February, the Spoke Club held the annual HELLO! Canada Love Toronto event where Fashion Crimes had the joy of dressing all the lady employees of the Spoke Club in fabulous red dresses. The event was so much fun; it even had a green screen photo booth that boasted the amazing Toronto skyline. Check out the photo taken of Kat and I dressed from head to hose in, of course, Fashion Crimes!

Wedding by the Water

When you step into the wonderful world of Fashion Crimes, you can always count on our amazing staff to go above and beyond to ensure your experience is both joyful and stress-free. This was the experience of Jian, a bride-to-be who was just visiting Toronto and wasn't exactly bridal shopping at the time....until she met Logan. Logan, one of our superstar stylists, showed Jian some of our gorgeous ivory floor length dresses, and she fell in love with a beautiful strapless, silk gown. To give her the full picture (literally), Logan quickly made a tie out of one of our sashes in Jian's wedding colors and posed next to her as her husband! We're so happy your big day was a success; you looked breath taking!!The first picture is taken in the store with our stand-in groom/employee Logan. The second picture shows Jian with her husband on their special day. We all really love her choice of orange and turquoise; nicely done!!

Walk for Life and Death

The Walk the Truth charity show called upon local designers and celebrities to showcase original pieces created specifically for the event. The fashion show fundraiser and gala was dedicated to promoting HIV and AIDS awareness, with all proceeds raised from the show going directly into sustainable programming to help and support orphans overseas, as well as to educate children and youth about HIV and AIDS around the world. Our very own Pam Chorley was more than delighted to contribute to such a fantastic cause, by creating a beautiful Tivoli gown with feather trim, and amazing rooster print lining. The event was a huge success; what a great way to finish Ottawa Fashion Week!

Yet Another Gorgeous Fashion Crimes Bride!

We love the brides who come into our store looking for the perfect dress that is both fashionable and unique. Jewel stole our hearts the moment she walked into the store. She found her complete wedding outfit at Fashion Crimes; choosing the Oscar dress in hot pink, paired with a pink fox fur stole, satin evening gloves, and a dynamite white feather fascinator. Jewel looked absolutely amazing; they are truly an adorable couple. Congratulations to you both!!

Skye Collyer Talks Cars

Actress and host of GameTV, Skye Collyer, recently was the Chevrolet On Scene Reporter for the 2011 Canadian International Auto Show. Fashion Crimes was thrilled to put together the perfect outfit for her big night.Skye is seen here with GM Canada President Kevin Williams. She is wearing a Fashion Crimes Knotty dress in silver sequin fabric, paired with gorgeous Austrian crystal drop earrings.

Magneta Lane CD Release

Magneta Lane held their CD release party for their latest album Gambling with God at the Gibson Entertainment Showroom, which also featured the video premiere for the song "Shatter". Dina Pugliese MC Extraordinaire!

Dina Pugliese, co-host of Breakfast Television and Fashion Crimes frequenter, hosted the 5th Annual A Cure in the Future Retro Gala this past February. All the proceeds from the event were donated to the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation to "conquer cancer in our lifetime". Dina, as always, looked remarkable in a long, satin, tiered Fashion Crimes gown accented with the perfect accessories.
